Abstract:A general simplified procedure using an age adjusted effective modulus for the analysis of the time-dependent behaviour of the composite structures is presented. This simplified procedure is tested against a computer model using a step by step procedure for three different examples, including two real bridge projects. In all cases very close agreement is obtained between both computations.
