Abstract:
In Aldaia, Valencia has been constructed the biggest commercial centre of Spain. The structural solution used is a flat postensioned slab with no expansion joints, of 250x250m2 that is the biggest flat slab without expansion joints of the world. In this article it explains the reasons to choose this typologic, the problems during the design and the thecnical aspects more importants of the design, of the control of design and during execution.
