Abstract:
The appearance of specific recommendations and guidelines for the employment of the Fibre Reinforced Concrete is, without any doubt, a key tool that provides a major margin of reliability to the designer. Nowadays there are numerous directives and normative recommendations that define the bases of calculation of this material, which in turn supposes a great opportunity to extend its use. In this article, a detailed analysis of the principal European normative models (DBV, RILEM, CNR-DT 204 and EHE) has been done and the results obtained by means of a numerical model (applying these codes) have been compared with the experimental data from previous tests.
