Abstract:
The article describes the design and construction of the cable stayed bridge "Los Olivos", over the N-IV in the Municipality of Getafe. It is a reinforced concrete bridge, cable stayed by means of two staying planes, and three spans of moderated length 14 + 54 + 14 m. Nevertheless, the design was strongly conditioned by the location and the social environment that required taking into account the aesthetic aspects and try to disturb the highway traffic as little as possible during construction. The article describes the bridge morphology, calculations, materials and methods of construction.
