Abstract:The article presents a structural intervention of special characteristics that has been carried out within the enlargement works that are being developed in the M-30 urban motorway. In the Northwest zone of Madrid the M-30 was constructed at a lower level than the adjacent land running between walls and under three structures of great wide that in surface adopt a roundabout form. It has been necessary to widen these structures. In order to do this, several possibilities have been studied and finally the extension with a singular constructive process has been executed. The process that has been chosen has allowed to move the abutments of the existing structures without demolishing the original decks.
