Abstract:
The requirements of materials (concrete, reinforcing steel, prestressing steel, prestressing devices) given in the Eurocode 2 are compared with ooooothe corresponding ones in the present Spanish Code for Plain and Reinforced Concrete, EH and Code for Prestressed Concrete, EP. The comparison includes types and classification of materials, required properties and stress-strain diagrams. It is included also a comparison of values for shrinkage and creep for the most frequent cases.
