Abstract:
The wide variety of structures on the urban subway MADRID CALLE 30, as well as the different conditions of the way along its route, made necessary the analysis of a couple of particular solutions in order to assure a correct behaviour on the fire hypothesis inside the tunnels for each stretch. This paper resumes the different conditions established on the design for the fire action of the most significant buried structures along the route, as well as the support of the structural solutions adopted in each case. The paper exhibits also the results of the computer assessment and laboratory tests that were made in order to obtain the abovementioned purposes.
