Abstract:
This article is the sixth of a series of articles intended to explain the rationale behind some of the upcoming changes in the ACI 562 Code. It discusses the ACI 562 provisions, derived from the method presented in Section 9.4.2 of ACI 214.4R-10, for calculating in-place concrete compressive strength from core test results. It also provides example calculations using the procedures included in both documents.
