Abstract:
Quality control is the means by which a contractor or material producer controls materials and workmanship to meet the prevailing standards of good practice and the contract requirements. The tests summarized in this article represent the current best practices for quality control of concrete paving. The material is adapted from Integrated Materials and Construction Practices for Concrete Pavement: A State-of-the-Practice Manual, published by the National Concrete Pavement Technology Center.
