Abstract:
The Concrete Sustainability Forum III took place prior to the ACI Fall 2010 Convention in Pittsburgh, PA. The forum provided an overview of the sustainability efforts in Brazil, India, China, Korea, Japan, and the U.S. The current state of the ISO environmental standards for concrete and its future aspects were also outlined. A number of presentations are summarized in this article, along with the attendees’ agreed declarations for future action in regard to sustainability in the concrete sector.
