Abstract:
This technical committee conducted research and investigation with the aim of improving the reliability and expanding the use of the nonlinear finite element analysis method. Specifically, its fundamentals/basics were organized in the form of a guidebook, and the points to keep in mind were summarized in easily understandable terms through analysis examples based on the guidebook. It was also shown that investigation using the nonlinear finite element method can greatly contribute to improve construction quality and safety performance of actual structures.
