The use of high-range water-reducing admixtures is increasing substantially in the concrete industry. They are used to increase strength of concrete and provide greatly increased workability without the addition of excessive amounts of water. This guide contains information on application, uses, and effects on freshly mixed and hardened water-reducing admixtures. The guide is designed for use by concrete suppliers, contractors, designers, specifiers, and all others engaged in concrete construction.
