Abstract:
Special heated enclosures at site 500 km (310 miles) northwest of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, permitted building of a plant for oil production from bituminously impregnated sand during harsh winter temperatures. Special efforts by contracting joint venture kept the job on tight schedule and reduced costs.
