Abstract:Experiments on strength, Young's modulus, Poisson's ratio and creep of concrete exposed to elevated temperatures were carried out. Based on the results of experiments, strengths of sealed specimens stored at elevated temperatures and the creep strains of prestressed specimens exposed to elevated temperatures or exposed to cycles of temperature changes are described, and some problems in application of concrete for nuclear reactor are discussed.
