Abstract:
In the last 20 years, model tests for the study of static structural problems have been extensively used at the Laboratorio Nacional de Engenharia Civil. Some of these models have been used to solve design problems of reinforced concrete structures difficult to approach by analytical methods. . .Some results of the model tests are compared with the observed behavior of the prototype in this summation of the author's experience.
