Abstract:
The resistance, deformation and fracture behaviors of reinforced concrete shear walls confined in a unit rectangular reinforced concrete rigid fram are investigated experiementally as well as analytically, not only in elastic, but also in cracked, ultimate and even post-ultimate states. . .A design guide by a simplified mechanism is presented for practical use.
