Abstract:
The effect of environmental conditions on the design for temperature and shrinkage stresses of reinforced concrete structures is presented. The range of temperature variation, percentage of longitudinal steel, concrete mix, coefficient of thermal expansion and shrinkage coefficient of normal and lightweight concrete have been studied.
