Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to present the different methods of insulating buildings for cold storage or similar purposes and to give also an idea of the adaptability of reinforced concrete to this type of structure. Up to the present time there has been practically nothing written on the use of reinforced concrete in connection with insulation, and there are undoubtedly many promoters of storage plants who have no proper conception of the advantages offered by concrete for buildings of this kind.
