Abstract:
During the last three years a series of experiements have been carried on the Laboratory of Heat Measurements of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, having for their object the study of those physical properties of Portland cement concrete which affect its value aas a fire resistant material. While these researches are by no means complete, it is perhaps of interest at this time to discuss some of the results obtained.
