Abstract:
The year 1912 has been one of the greatest silo building seasons in the history of this country. Iowa, so far as we can learn, has taken the lead in silo building, having completed 10,000 silos this year; one township alone has 58 now in use. Last year St. Croix County, Wisconsin, and Kane County, Illinois had 125 and 150 silos in use, respectively.
