Abstract:
This paper is written at the suggestion of a friend, who believes that if the engineer and the architect can better understand the problems they put up to the contractor, and can get an insight into the whole problem through his eyes, greater efficiency will be obtained in building operations and more harmony in their business relations will result. The writer believes most positively that an engineer and a contractor are both necessary.
