Abstract:
The concrete roads of Wayne County, Michigan, have attracted more attention and given rise to a greater amount of comment than those of any other locality. While these concrete roads are not the oldest to be found in service today, they do, however, constitute the first extensive county system of concrete raods to be built, and as a consquence have been the indirect cause of the construction of many hundreds of miles of concrete highways in all parts of the United States.
