Abstract:
This is the big question to be answered by the members of the Institute. There are many associations in the engineering and construction field, all endeavoring to render a service to enigneers and builders. Prominent among them are the American Society of Civil Engineers; American Society for Testing Materials and the American Railway Engineering Association, and there is perhaps necessarily a certain overlapping of functions.
