The work assigned to the committee as follows: 1. Program of tests of concrete mixers. 2. Report on data available as to, and on what further investigation would be necessary to determine, the effect of admixutres in concrete. 3.Report on data available as to "sur face area," "fitneness modulus" and "water-ratio" theories in the design of concrete mixes. 4.
