Abstract: Before laying the type of floor finish described in this paper, a number of tests were made on various kinds of concrete surfaces to determine the one having the greatest resistance to wear and best adapted to the severe wearing conditions and occuring in industrial plants. The problem was considered with reference to (a) materials incorporated in the finish and (b) method of laying the finish.
