Abstract:
Two meetings of Committee E-5 on Aggregates were held during the past year, one at Washington, D. C., December 15, 1928, and the other at Detroit, Michigan, at the time of the annual meeting of the Institute. The principal activity of the Committee has been the further consideration of the proposed Purchase Specification for Aggregates, to which reference was made in last year's report. It has been the special object of the Committee to harmonize this specification in so far as possible with the corresponding specification of the American Society for Testing Materials.
