Abstract:
This sub-committee has been assigned the duty of preparing an "authoritative and exhaustive report upon the various factors in gravel aggregates that affect the strength, durability, density, and other properties of concrete for various uses." The assignment includes consideration of characteristics due to natural causes, methods of preparation, and methods of use.
