Abstract:
During the past three years the Committee on Concrete Products Plant Operation has submitted reports on (1) Design of plants (1922), (2) Cost Keeping (1923), ( 3 ) Economical Manufacturing Processes (1924). The committee felt that for 1925 it should produce, (A) A simplified recommended practice for manufacturing concrete masonry units, easily understood and applied by products manufacturers. (B) A practical application of the data submitted in the 1924 report on the manufacture of light concrete building tile,(C) Investigation of the effect of various methods of curing.
