Abstract:
The origins of the Concrete Industry Management bachelor’s degree program at Middle Tennessee State University date back only slightly more than 11 years, but it is already expanding to include a Concrete Contracting concentration and programs at several other universities. With an enrollment of almost 300 students, the program continues to benefit from a unique collaboration of organizations and individuals from a broad spectrum of the concrete industry. The past, present, and future of the program are discussed in this article.
