Abstract:
The author describes the design and construction of a 250,000 gpm power plant intake, An interesting feature of the ppump well cofferdam was the reinforced concrete ring wales, which resulted in savings in operations becasuse the interior of the cofferdam was kept clear for excavating, driving of drilled-in cassions, tremie operations and placing of the pump well concrete.
