Abstract:
Results of applying the vacumn process to field and laboratory mixes are analyzed with respect to the workablity and strength, and an inquiry is made into the apparent relationship between vacumn process slabs and specialized vacumn cylinders made from the same bach. The effect of the vacumn process on the water-cement ratio is discussed, and a method of designing concrete mixes, so as to protect the final yieldof the concrete and secure full benefits of the system, is proposed.
