Abstract:
Statistical methods provide valuable tools for assesing results of strength tests, and such information is also of due in refining design criteria and specifications. The report discusses briefly the numerous variations that occur in the strength of concrete and presents statistical methods which are useful in interpreting these variations. Criteria are offered that can be used to establish specifications and maintain required uniformity.
