Presents a simple method for the calculation of trisegmental M-4 relations taking into consideration the contribution to stiffness by the concrete in the tensile zone in between cracks. These M-4 relations will be useful for rigorous serviceabilit and compatibility analyses of hyperstatic reinforced concrete structures. Predictions of the method are compared with tests and are found to be good.
