Abstract:
The use of epoxy resin based adhesives in two different types of precast concrete bridge construction are described. The bridges covered are the conventional segmental bridges and a new system of precast concrete bridge deck construction. Construction procedures are described, and the physical properties of the different types of adhesives required are reviewed.
