Abstract:
A brief report is presented on mechanical strength test results for cement paste specimens subjected to cycles of freezing and thawing in sodium chloride solutions, indicating the importance of these tests in the prediction of the behavior of concrete in the presence of chloride based deicing chemicals under freeze-thaw conditions.
