Abstract:
This document is an zlpdated report on the design and construction of reinforced concrete cooling tower shells. In general, this report is addressed to towers 300 ft (90 m) or greater in height having a geometric form similar to or that of a hyperboloid of revolution. The specific intent is to provide the design profession with guidelines reflecting the present state of the art, as interpreted by the committee.
