Abstract:
The static and dynamic mod&i of elasticity and drying shrinkage of recycled-aggregate concretes made with coarse recycled aggregate and natural sand were studied as functions of modulus of elasticity and drying shrinkage of the original concretes from which the recycled aggregates were derived. Recycled-aggregate concretes were found to have 15 to 30 percent lower modulus of elasticity and 40 to 60percent higher shrinkage than corresponding conventional concretes,
