Abstract:
This paper describes a bridge with 10 + 26 + 26 + 26 + 10 span lenght. The bridge has composite deck section and was built with precast segments and external presstressing. Segment building process is described, although there are many common aspects with other precast segment bridges, the singularities comes throught the steel webs. Deck building process is done by hanging deck segments frorn a autolaunching girder using prestress bars. Bridge construction was done over 22 high-way nearby Alcala de Henares. With this construction procedure tragic is not affected. Poligonal prestress geometry is described as well as diaphragms and anchorage elements. Design methods are explained, such as torsional stiffness evaluation and other singularities.
