Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to present material covering the practical task of designing flat slab floors for reinforced concrete structures. The requisite thickness of slab, amount of reinforcement and size of column head for different loadings and different spans are give in Tables I-IV; and the theories and assumptions involved in the computation are briefly discussed.
