Abstract:
Sponsoring a student chapter can be a rewarding experience, but it also takes some work and oversight. While a student chapter elects officers to take on responsibilities, the chapter is ultimately a subsection of the sponsoring professional chapter. Therefore, student chapters must be monitored by the professional chapter and its Board or designated committee.
