Abstract:
The article discusses different aspects of construction industry that could benefit from the use of currently available technology. For example, drones and mobile apps can increase the speed and accuracy of data delivery to finance, payment automation software can mitigate payment fraud as part of an overall risk-management program, drones and machine-learning algorithms can monitor jobsites for safety and security issues, while virtual reality technologies can offer quicker training.
