Abstract:
Concrete is an environmentally friendly material of choice for construction of the world’s vast infrastructure. Tall reinforced-concrete buildings, highway bridges, pavements, water-retaining structures, and residential structures are all testimonials to concrete’s use and versatility. Unfortunately, portland cement, the critical component of modern-day concrete, is not as environmentally friendly. .
