Abstract:
Do we need another ACI manual? When it comes to marine structures, we certainly do. About 30 percent of the design/consulting firms listed in the 1984-85 ENR review indicated marine structures as one of their major areas of activity. Scores of large and small marine facilities are built every year, a majority of them partially or completely from concrete.
