Abstract:
Offsite migration of contaminated groundwater from an inactive waste site in Niagara Falls, New York, is currently being minimized with extraction wells on the down-gradient side of the site. To reduce the quantity of groundwater to be extracted and tested, the site owner, E. I. Dupont de Nemours & Company, also deciced to construct a grout curtain on the up-gradient sides of the site.
