Abstract:
When properly designed and constructed, tilt-up construction often affords the most cost-effective means for an owner to occupy a concrete building. To fully capitalize on the advatages of tilt-up productivity, the architect, engineer, and contractor must work together as a team. Some of the benefits of a design-build team are single source responsibility, construction efficiencies, cost control, and quality.
