Abstract:
Three worn-out steam generators were replaced at the Ringhals 3 nuclear power station during the summer of 1995. Ringhals, which has been in operation since 1981, is situated on the west coast of Sweden, about 60 km (37 mi) south of Gothenburg. It was the second time a replacement of steam generators was carried out in Sweden. The first station, Ringhals 2, had its steam generators replaced in 1989.
