Abstract:
Reliable production of homogeneous good concrete does not require sophisticated, high-tech equipment and skilled labor. Quality concrete can be achieved in poorer contries on small projects in remote areas with unskilled workers and rebuilt equipment. The essential factor is the full collaboration of management and field personnel. This is how we did it on the Bobos River Hydroelectric Project in Guatemala.
