Abstract:
A procedure for computing long-term deflections in multistory buildings developed by the author was used to calculate one-year deflections. These deflections were compared with deflections recorded at 175 bays on 13 floors of a flat plate structure one year after casting. Measured and computed one-year deflections are in good agreement.
