Abstract:
Two unique ferrocement roofing elements were designed and built using welded wire fabric instead of woven wire mesh. Both designs basically consisted of an inverted pyramid on a central column. The essential difference between the two types was the manner selected to stiffen the four comparatively large plane elements.
