Abstract:
Acceleration of the building frame is achieved by early removal of floor forms. Special concrete mixes giving high early strength are checked by in-place testing to insure compliance with specifications. Concrete in the vertical elements, where early strength is not needed, is based on 91-day acceptance requirements. Combining these two approaches results in significant financial savings. .
